This Pear Pin-Up girl print was inspired by the infamous 1940-50's pin-up girls. A pin-up girl is known also as a model and meant to be 'pinned up' on a wall for display. They could be glamour models, fashion models or actresses of their time. The term pin-up also referred to drawings, illustrations and paintings. Many of these pin-up girls were often used on calendars. or posters and mass produced.

We collaborated with Japanese Illustrator, Mio Matsumoto to create this limited edition cheeky and quirky set of modern pin-up girls, comes in pear and strawberry prints.

Each print was printed on the risograph using soy based inks.

Riso printing is an energy efficient print process. Similar to screen printing process, artwork is burnt onto a master and the master it is then fed through a print drum layer by layer. Please note that each print will vary very slightly, making each one  one-off and unique. Offsetting may occur, the imperfections  we think add extra charm.

Prints are printed on quality FSC certified paper, UK.
